The Tour to the South Valley of Cusco starts at 9 am. Our tourist transport will go through your hotel to pick you up and we will begin this wonderful adventure towards the South Valley of Cusco. We will go to the South of Cusco on the Cusco – Puno route.
The first place we will visit in our South Valley Cusco will be Tipón, a beautiful Inca archaeological park that has an impressive hydraulic system that demonstrates the advanced Inca engineering. After an explanation from our guide and some time to take beautiful pictures, we will continue with our trip.
South Valley of Cusco – Andahuaylillas
After 20 minutes, we will arrive at Pikillacta, the amazing Wari urban center, this area stands out for its sophisticated urban distribution. In it, you can clearly see the difference between its architecture with the Inca architecture.
We will continue our journey further south from Cusco until we reach the beautiful village of Andahuaylillas where we will visit its beautiful San Pedro Apóstol Temple, a jewel from the colonial era. It has received the nickname of the Sistine Chapel of America for the large number of wall paintings it contains. Without a doubt, a place that you cannot miss on your visit to Cusco.
