Day 1COLONIAL AND CONTEMPORARY LIMA CITY TOUR

Airport reception and move to the selected hotel.

In the afternoon at the appropriate time we begin our tour by visiting the “Huaca Pucllana” Ceremonial and Archaeological Center, considered the Sacred Town of the Incas.

Later you will visit the Historic Center of Lima, where you will appreciate colonial-style buildings, highlighting the Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, the Municipal Palace.

Very close to the Plaza Mayor is the Central Reserve Bank Museum. Here you will appreciate the collection of Treasures of Peru, a select exhibition of gold objects, ceramics and textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures.

Our next visit will be to Contemporary Lima, we will visit the most modern and traditional residential areas of Lima, San Isidro, Miraflores and the fascinating boardwalk where you will have a beautiful view of the sea.

Day 2LIMA FOOD TOUR

After breakfast, we begin our gastronomic tour of Lima, discovering the secrets of Peruvian gastronomy, considered the most important culinary movement in the world.

You will first visit a typical Peruvian market, where you will appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian products and enjoy the variety of unique fruits such as Chirimoya, Lucuma, Aguaymanto, Pacae and more.

Then you will visit an exclusive Peruvian restaurant, a space where you can prepare and taste your own “Pisco Sour” and the famous “Ceviche”. Then we will taste a delicious buffet lunch that includes the most representative dishes of Peruvian cuisine.

Return to your hotel.

Day 3AREQUIPA CITY TOUR

Upon arrival in Arequipa, reception and transfer to the selected hotel and free time in the morning to rest.
In the afternoon we start the tour of the city of Arequipa known as the “White City” due to the ashlar constructions, it is the second most important city in Peru and the most colonial.

The tour begins with a visit to the Plaza de Armas to appreciate the Cathedral and the Cloisters of the Society of Jesus, also one of the main attractions is the beautiful Convent of Santa Catalina “a small city within a city” of the seventeenth century, We will see its streets, gardens, cloisters, rustic stone wash houses, ashlar walls and its art gallery.

Next visit will be to the Yanahuara viewpoint where you will get a privileged view of the city and appreciate the Misti, Pichupichu and Chachani volcanoes.

Return to your hotel.

Day 4AREQUIPA – COLCA VALLEY

In the morning after breakfast you will travel to the Colca Valley, on the way you will visit the Pampa Cañahua nature reserve, a place where you will appreciate vicuñas that have the finest wool fiber.

Then we will pass through what was the crater of the Chucure Volcano. We will arrive at the highest point Patapampa, (4,800 m.a.s.l.) from where the valley of the Volcanoes of Arequipa will be appreciated.

Finally we will arrive at the town of Chivay to have lunch and take the afternoon off to explore the place. Optionally you can visit the thermal baths of La Calera.

Return to your hotel.

Day 5COLCA VALLEY – PUNO

 Very early in the morning visit to the Cruz del Cóndor, a place with an impressive view of the Valley and from where we will appreciate the flight of the condors.

You will have free time to walk and return to the town of Chivay on the way you will pass through the town of Pinchollo, the Pre-Inca Hanging Tombs, Litomoquetas, the town of Maca, Achola, the town of Yanque and Chivay.

At noon you will have lunch at one of the Tourist Restaurants in Chivay of your choice. Departure transfer to the bus station to take the trip to the city of Puno.

Upon arrival pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6PUNO – UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS

In the morning transfer to the port to start the tour, the program allows you to make a full day excursion to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and will visit as a first point the more than 63 floating islands of the Uros, where they are inhabited by Aymara families, these islands have been built of reeds and aquatic plants from the place that serve to make their homes, these islands are also known as “the people of the lake” their activities are artisanal fishing, hunting of wild birds and textile art.

After leaving such a peculiar place, you will continue your journey to the Island of Taquile, where you will be able to appreciate the customs and traditions of the islanders, who preserve their customs, traditions and traditional clothing. From that place you will see a beautiful view of Lake Titicaca and you will appreciate the beautiful textiles, who received the award by UNESCO. Spinning and weaving are mainly done by men.

Return to the port of Puno for transfer to your hotel.

Day 7ROUTE OF THE SUN PUNO TO CUSCO

In the morning, transfer to the bus station for the excursion to the famous Ruta del Sol, from Puno to Cusco, where you will visit the Pucará Museum, passing through Apu Chimbuya at 4,335 meters above sea level.

Then there will be a stop in the town of Sicuani to enjoy the buffet lunch.

In the afternoon, visit the Archaeological Complex of Raqchi and the Church of Andahuaylillas.

Arrival in Cusco pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 8CUSCO CITY TOUR

The morning free to rest and/or shop.

In the afternoon 1:00 p.m. approx. begins your visit to the historic center of the city and surrounding ruins, begins with a visit to the Temple of Koricancha known as the Temple of the Sun, inside you can appreciate the temple of the sun and the moon and the beauty of the fine Inca works, the next visit will be to the main Cathedral of the city.

Day 9CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – AGUAS CALIENTES

In the morning 8:15 approx. Departure to the so-called “Sacred Valley of the Incas” to visit the Archaeological Complex of Pisac and the picturesque craft market of Pisac. On Sundays the villagers celebrate their mass in the Quechua language.

Then we pass through the towns of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba.

Buffet lunch.

In the afternoon after a short rest, visit the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the most important archaeological complexes of monuments of the ancient Inca Empire and a remembered place where the conquerors lost a great battle. Ollantaytambo gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex in the times of Tahuantinsuyo.

In the afternoon or evening departure to Machu Picchu city (Aguas Calientes).

Day 10MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Day 11MARAS AND MORAY

In the morning 8:00 a.m. excursion to the Archaeological Complex of Moray and Moray very particular in its style for presenting enormous concentric terraces that give life to a special setting.
