Our clients are picked up of their respective hotels in the city of Lima for our local guide. Next we will approach our private vehicle and we will leave bound for the lost city of Caral. We will drive our vehicle for the Pan-American north for approximately 2 and a half hours until arriving to the Kilometer 184, before the city of I Knew. Then we will take a not asphalted route that the left riverbank of the valley travels I knew for 30 minutes that it took us until the archaeological complex of Caral. To our arrival we will begin a journey on foot accompanied by our local guide. During our visit we will know the area denominated altar of the sacred fire, a small temple in whose vent was opposing, remains of coal, maté, bones, seeds and quartz. Later we will continue our journey in one of the well-known more outstanding temples as The Temple of the Amphitheater where is a ceremonial square in a sunken circular way where is believed the men of Caral they carried out their religious ceremonies. Then we will pass to know The biggest Pyramid, a great and imposing building located in a dominant position inside the urban area of Caral. According to the archaeologists, the summit of this great pyramid not allowed the visual control alone of the activities carried out in the city, but also of a great part of the capital area in the means of valley. Here you finds the cadaver of a youth that was sacrificed probably in honor to their gods, they were also drawings in the walls and decorations elaborated with shark tooth. It is believed that the biggest Pyramid represented the center of the political, administrative power and religious of Caral. From our point visitors they will be able to appreciate the green Valley of Caral located behind the pyramid. Continuing with our walk will arrive to the Pyramid of the Huanca, a small building whose facade is located in front of an enigmatic monolith nailed in the floor. It is believed that this monolith would have been associated with astronomical activities and ceremonials. When concluding our visit we will leave the ruins of Caral and we will drive toward a restaurant in the route for our lunch. Finally we will return to the city of Lima.
