The mountain of Colors or mountain Arch Iris (Rainbow Mountain) or but known by the local as Hill Colorado, this located in Vinicunca, county of Quipicanchis, Cusco. Their geologic formations reveal all their splendor, in contrast with the blue sky forming a formidable barrier between the desert of the coast and the amazon forest, dominated by the beautiful snowy Ausangate (6384 m), one of the grandiose apus of this region.
The mountains of Vinicunca are one of the spectacular places of the mountain range of the Vilcanota, it awaits a natural coloration, this coloration it is given by the presence of sedimentary stones in erosion. The impressive thing is like they have been formed the stones to form a group of seven colors. The height of the mountain is of approximately 5,000 msnm.
